Watch doesn’t connectHi. I’ve been having fun playing with this “Shining Mask” LED mask and I’m impressed with how well it works and how much it can do. The mask comes pre-loaded with a collection of masks that are ready to use. Some are little kid “night terror” worthy Halloween masks (think: fangs + dripping blood) while others are more Darth Maul / Darth Vader’ish. The variety of pre-loaded masks is pretty broad and, while all of them were not for me, I expect that many, if not most of them, will please somebody.Programming the scrolling marquee was a breeze as was uploading my own images to use. It all went and works well. That being said … the instruction(s) booklet that comes with the mask is skimpy on detail and provides little useful guidance. The good news is there are some well done videos online that demo what this mask can actually do. The videos I saw were fun to watch and good sources for (what to do with it) ideas. The app is pretty easy to navigate and I was able to accomplish what I wanted to do after puzzling it out / working with it for a few minutes. Still, having useful written instructions would have been nice.I found the mask physically comfortable to wear after adjusting the Velcro strap to fit my head. Eyeglass wearers should note that this mask is form fitting and is not made to accommodate eyeglass [underneath]. So, plan on leaving them home …Conclusion: It’s easy to have some serious fun with this mask in a variety of settings. While it comes preloaded with a bunch of “ready to go” Halloween and Christmas masks, being able to import and show your own images makes it after-dark party worthy. Have fun!P.S. / Note - When charging this mask, the visual display never showed me the green “Full Charge” icon the instructions indicated I should expect. And I left it on the recommended 5 volt charger for almost a full day (supervised). That is where star #5 went …Once I turned it on and put it on I found myself enjoying it more and more. It has an adjustable strap for comfort and the mask sits comfortably on the bridge of your nose. It's not confined, so there is no problem with breathing. Basically, if you have ever worn a VR apparatus, this is the same without the added weight. The app that pairs up to your phone does take some getting used to. There is a tiny instruction pamphlet that comes with it. The animations and pics stored on the app/mask are good and diverse. Plus there is an option to put your own pics as a mask. Don't get too excited about that part though. You can only do still images, and they are extremely pixelated. It is awesome to see something you chose on your mask but it gets old. These are led lights not mini-movies or moving gif files. The animation section will make you think differently but there is no obvious way to add any animations. So I do believe it is worth the money, but it could definitely use more options and customizations. I am a streamer so I wear the mask for long periods of time. When it comes to the mask being picked up on camera, it's good as long as your surroundings are dark. If not, it will come over lackluster at best. I've worn it for periods over five hours without fail. I don't recommend it but you can. Honestly, I love it. It may not have all of the options I want, but it's definitely a huge step in the right direction.This mask is a nice electronic mask for a start. It has a lot of different faces from scary to funny. Some also has some animation. Take note, the size is kid’s size and so it will be on the small side. You can change the graphics using the included bracelet. You can also change the graphics without the bracelet by using the button on the mask. The charge is pretty long, you can use it for the whole night without running out of battery (as long as it is fully charged). You can add your own creation but not animation.
